Storyboard Text

  • The Inuit people were mainly known as hunters because of their lack of vegetable,
  • they had to grow skills on hunting animals for their meat.
  •  A key hunting tool was a bolas (balls at the end of a strong core) so they could trap their preys giving no chance of them escaping, without it many Inuit people would have stave to death.
  • Some example of their hunting tools were: knifes, spears, fishing rod, bow and arrows  and more.
  • The animals the Inuit people hunted were sea mammals and land animals.
  • They hunted different animals because of the change of seasons but the most common animals were whales, deers and polar bears.
  • After they collected their food they would bring it back to their family to feast on.
  • The Inuit people had multiply ways of preparing food. One way was to eat it raw since they were short on fuel but most of the time they would dry the meat to persevere it.
  • The Inuit people would repeat this cycle no matter what season it was and as time went on they were able to make improvements on their hunting tools.
