Storyboard Text

  • Sadly, my beach adventure was over. I stared out over the beautiful sea and rippling waves, wishing I didn't have to go home. I loved the beach more than any place in the world, and I always said goodbye to the glistening ocean before I left. I had already packed my bags and my car was waiting to take me back to Tennessee.
  • exposition
  • Goodbye beach.
  • Oh crap, I'm out of gas!
  • As I began the long drive home, I looked down at the dashboard and realized I was almost out of gas. I frustratedly found the nearest gas station and pulled in next to a sketchy looking man.
  • conflict
  • I quickly filled up my gas tank as the suspicious man, who I named mustache man, stood nearby and observed. I started to get worried and desperately wanted to leave, but my stomach growled loudly and urged me to find food. I decided to quickly run in and get a snack before I drove off, but when I came back my car was gone!
  • rising action
  • I frantically looked around and saw my car in the distance with mustache man in the driver's seat. I immediately grabbed my phone and called 911. I told them my name was Greta, my car was being stolen, and what mustache man looked like. When the police arrived, I hopped in the passenger seat of the police car and we sped after the theif.
  • I'm calling 911!
  • climax
  • The police officer, Bertrice, raced after mustache man faster than I had ever driven in my life. The speed was exhilarating and we caught up with mustache man in no time. Bertrice sped ahead of him and forced him to pull over. He jumped out of my car and tried to run for it, but we were just as fast.
  • falling action
  • Get him!!!
  • We chased him all to the way to a public boardwalk where he was trapped. Bertrice grabbed him and forced his hands into handcuffs. As I watched mustache man get taken away, I realized that I had gotten my wish. I had lived one last adventure before my time at the beach was over.
  • You have nowhere to run.
  • You should think before you act next time.
