• These are the equations for the Law of cosines
• Why are there three equations?﻿
• a^2=b^2+c^2-2bc*cos(A)  b^2=a^2+c^2-2ac*cos(B) c^2=a^2+b^2-2ab*cos(C)
• Thank you for asking well each equation is used to find a different side or degree of the ﻿triangle
• a^2=b^2+c^2-2bc*cos(A)  b^2=a^2+c^2-2ac*cos(B) c^2=a^2+b^2-2ab*cos(C)
• Take the first equation for example, it can be used to find the A leg of the triangle or the A degree of the triangle
• a^2=b^2+c^2-2bc*cos(A)
• And the other two equations are used to find the other two sides and the other two legs﻿
• a^2=b^2+c^2-2bc*cos(A)  b^2=a^2+c^2-2ac*cos(B) c^2=a^2+b^2-2ab*cos(C)
• That class is the law of cosines and it's three equations﻿
• a^2=b^2+c^2-2bc*cos(A)  b^2=a^2+c^2-2ac*cos(B) c^2=a^2+b^2-2ab*cos(C)
