Storyboard Description

Summary: Calypso took Odysseus from the ocean and kept him on her island. Odysseus was on her island for 7 years. Athena wants Odysseus to leave, so she asks her father Zeus for help. Zeus sends Hermes to tell Calypso to let Odysseus go. She agrees and provides Odysseus with a raft and provisions. Explanation: Odysseus's time with Calypso is the longest he spent with anyone during his journey. He didn't entirely want to leave her. It was also the least difficult obstacle he had to face.
