  • The moon has a weaker gravitational pull than the earth. Therefore we would weigh less on the moon.  
  • Your mass stays the same the further away from the Earth you get but your weight decreases
  • The Earth has stronger gravitational pull therefore we would weigh more on the moon.
  • Your mass stays the same the closer to the Earth you get but your weight increases
  • The brick has more mass rather than the sponge. Therefore its weight is greater.
  • The sponge has less mass than the brick. Therefore the sponge would have  a lesser weight.
  • When you put a brick on the moon its weight would change, but its matter would stay the same. Therefore the weight would only change.
  • If you put a sponge on the moon it would most likely just float away. It's weight is already so light that it would most likely have little to no weight at all.
