  • I am James Madison and these are the new 10 amendments of the U.S also knows as the Bill of Rights.
  • We have the freedom to now speak out against things and worship freely.
  • Thirteenth Amendment

  • I have passed a law which now means all slaves are freed in the U.S.
  • The nineteenth amendment was the Women's right to vote amendment . It became into affect in the election of 1920. It started when a woman named Elizabeth Cady Stanton was not allowed to speak at the world conference on  abolitionism in London in 1840 because she was a woman, organized a conference in Seneca Falls, New York in 1848.
  • The first amendment guarantees the right to the freedoms of speech, press, and religion. In 1789, James Madison created the first 10 amendments, those amendments became the Bill of Rights, including the first amendment.
  • The thirteenth amendment was passed by congress on January 31st 1865, and was ratified December 6th 1865. It abolished slavery in all the United States. The president at the time passed the law and freed all slaves in the U.S.
