"Hi, I am a yellow Narcissus from the Kingdom Plantae. And my domain is Eukarya."
My kingdom is a Eukaryote. My cell wall contains cellulose. Cellulose is a substance main constituent of plant cell walls. It's an important structural component of a primary cell wall of green plants. A polysaccharide consists of chains of glucose monomers.
Im a multicellular organism. I consist of many cells in my body, unlike bacteria. Every cell has a nucleus and other membrane organelles. You can see close up.
Plantae are autotrophs we make our own energy. Our leaves contain a pigment called chlorophyll which makes our green leaves. Chlorophyll can make food the plant can use carbon dioxide, nutrients, energy from sunlight, and etc. This process is called photosynthesis.
Did you know 90% of humans food comes from 30 plants?
We interact with our environment by opening and closing holes on our leaves. Which is mainly called stomates. Humans need oxygen to breath in and plants breath in carbon dioxide and breath out oxygen. Animals depend on plants by eating their food.
