  • Exposition 
  • Conflict
  • Rising action
  • Once during the daytime of the tree-lined area called Maple Street. A flash of light occurs over the street and nothing seems to work. Steve Brand, Charlie, and Martian were about to go to the police while Pete Van Horn decided to go see if Floral Street still had power.
  • Climax
  • As the men are about to leave, Tommy tells the men about why they should stay. That a scenario like this had happened in a comic that he read and if you left, you would be killed. The neighborhood starts to question the Goodman family are the aliens that came before the rest.
  •                                     Falling action
  • The neighbors decided to go confront Les Goodman about why he was not outside for the light,then they all start to accuse them of being aliens because Les's car started and one woman said she saw Les walking around at night looking at the sky.
  • Resolition
  • After sitting outside of the people's houses, they hear a noise and see a silhouette. Everyone starts to freak out. The Charlie Shoots a gun at the figure and the figure goes down, it was Pete Van Horn. Charlie shot Pete and everyone then thinks he is the alien.
  • Once Charlie is blamed he runs to his house and has an idea. He starts shouting that he knows who id the alien and that Tommy is the alien. Tommy's mother Sally grabs him and starts to run to their house, then everyone starts blaming each other and hurting each other.
  • As we leave Maple Street, we see the silhouette of two creatures standing by a spaceship, talking about how simple it was to turn the people on Maple Street against each other. As they are leaving one says to the other that this place is no different and that the world is full of Maple Streets.
