Storyboard Text

  • The Most Important Right
  • I'm so glad that I can commit to my religion.
  • Oh, dear. I can finally worship whomever I want!
  •  The Second Most Important Right
  • Open up! I lost my pencil at the school, so I need to thoroughly search your house and seize anything I wish to have!
  • No! No, no, no, no, NOOOO!
  • Seamstress
  • The Third Most Important Right
  • I only took the ice cream because my children were hungry!
  • Amendment 1 is the most important. Out of the freedoms it grants, the freedom of religion is the most important. It allows us to choose which religion we are. If we allow our government to choose what religion we are, then we have allowed them to decide our values and how we live our lives. This is why it is the most important.
  • The Fourth Most Important Right
  • Ma'am, you don't have a right to a peaceful house party. You're being arrested.
  • The second most important right is the right to prevent unreasonable searches and seizures. If a search isn't justified, it shouldn't happen. People should have a right to privacy in their homes. People have a right to own things they choose and do things they choose as long as it doesn't interfere with the rights of others.
  • The Least Important Right
  • I believe the third most important right is the right against cruel and unusual punishment. Like in this scene, she doesn't deserve to be hanged! Maybe fined for forgetting to pay, or not being able to shop at that store again. It's important because people will not be hurt unreasonably for a small crime. This is why not having cruel and unusual punishments is a big deal.
  • My Amendment
  • I believe that the fourth most important right is that you have other rights in addition to those stated in the Bill of Rights. This is important because, without them, we wouldn't be able to do many things. We need this because we should be able to live our life the way we want to, and shouldn't have to worry about which few rights we actually have.
  • The least important right is the right to stop soldiers from living in your house. This is because we haven't forced people to quarter soldiers since the Civil War. Also, we need this the least because we now have technology and hotels which allows us to house soldiers without upsetting people. This is why it's the least useful and important right.
  • The Animals' Rights:  Every animal has a right to be treated with respect, dignity, and care.   This is important because, without animals, many people would be lonely, sad, and without help. We need this so that we can put an end to animal abuse. It is a horrible thing which needs to be stopped.
