  • Wassup! IM OPENING A CONVIENCE STORE AND I WANT TO know about LANs.
  • To know about LANs, you need to know what the acronym stands for.
  • So, what exactly is a LAN?
  • Where are they often used?
  • They are commonly used in homes or offices.
  • LAN stands for Local Area Network. It is used to enable computers, in a small     area, to exchange data.
  • when setting up a LAN you will need various items such as rj45s, switches, a 8P8C connector, and even Ethernet cables
  • Others  important things you need to know  is full duplex , half duplex and the differences
  • What is a full duplex and half duplex have to do with LAN?
  • The full duplex helps the network card send and collect data simultaneously. 
  • Half duplex sends and receives data but not at the same time.
  • Other things you would need to know would be messaging server, broadcast , centralized computing , client-server , 
  • CSMA/CA , CSMA/CD , CTI , CTI-based server , data transfer rate , database server ,
