  • Geography of Rome
  • Romulus and Remus 
  • Etruscan Engineering 
  • Rome is in the middle of the Italian peninsula. The  Italian peninsula is very rocky and mountainous. Rome is on the Tiber River, where Romans can get water.
  • Etruscan Sports
  • The Myth of Romulus and Remus is about two boys that grow up to create Rome by the Tiber River. The two boys grow up together and Romulus ends up killing Remus over a dispute of what the name of their city should be.
  • Greek Architecture
  • The Romans used the arch in the construction of their public buildings. They got this idea from the Etruscan culture.
  • Greek Culture
  • The Romans had chariot races and slave fighting. Slave fighting is when two of a dead master's slaves would fight to the death. Both of these ideas came from the Etruscan culture.
  • The Romans used columns in the making of great public structures such as the Parthenon. This idea started with the Greeks.
  • The Romans had a very similar culture to the Greeks because the Romans took the Greek alphabet, religion, and art and made a few small changes. They are almost the same.
