- It begun about 5,000 years ago.
- The Great Bath looks like a swimming pool, but may have been a temple where priests and rulers bathed in religious ceremonies.
- It is in Indus Valley.

- The homes are made of mud bricks and people would work in their homes.
- Sometimes they would stack homes on top of each other.
- The homes were important because without homes people wound now have a comforting place to stay.

- Bathrooms were important so people could keep clean
- People would shower by dumping water on their heads
- dirty water would go through pipes into the streets and go down the drain

- This was an important place because the priests and rulers could bathe in religious ceremonies

- Seals were like labels. They were important because they show who owned the product.
- Trade
- Trading is important because people can get resources that they don't have but need.
- The trade partner was Mesopotamia.
