- Ponyboy was leaving the movie theater, he watching a movie with Paul newman, he always loved watching movies and reading books and drawing.
- He was wondering if he could have waited until his brother Darry could have picked him up after the movie because walking alone at nignt and being a greaser is dangerous.
- He saw some Socs coimg near gim and he knew he was in danger and he was looking for a pop to use as a weapon.
- It was no use he couldnt find anything and he wished he could have his brothers to protect him.
- "Hey greaser, we are going to do you a favor, we are going to cut off all that greasy hair" the Socs said.
- My brother Sodapop saved me and the Socs ran away before they killed me.
