  •  Lord North was frustrated with the boycott on tea. He had the idea to creat the tea act which discounted the price of tea. This was also a way to tax colonists on tea without them knowing. 
  • yeet!
  • The colonists saw right through his plan.
  • oh heck yea
  • Tea Dumped
  • This taxation made merchants nervous. They wondered what other goods would be taxed.
  • these rebels have gone far enough
  • A patriot group called the Sons of Liberty decided to resist Lord North's plan. When 9,000 pounds of tea was imported to the colonies, they dressed as Mohawk Indians and threw it overboard.
  • Hearing about this event, later known as the Boston Tea Party, excited other patriots.
  • The Boston Tea Party angered the British.
