Chapter 8 Section 3 Segregation and Discrimination
Theirs No way I'm letting No Negro get on my Bus.
Segregation and Discrimination was part of life for people of color. For example places like bus stops, schools, churches, ect. They were denied equal treatment because of race, and Whites were non willing to give up their power so anyone who thought differently were given stricter laws, thrown in jail,or outcasts.
People standing up against segregation and discrimination was important because they were denied equal rights because of the color of their skin and just wanted to be free like everyone else, and not until people started changing their hearts and rebelling against these wrongs the world changed and showed we are all equal.
