Storyboard Text

  • Is it hard coming up with new lesson plans to keep students productive?
  • Not really, I have a lot of interesting subject material and I know the skills I want the students to work on throughout the year. So my short answer is no.
  • How do you, make sure that students value their time in high school?
  • Occasionally I talk to students about the importance of doing well in high school and trying as hard as they can and time in high school is limited so they shouldn’t take it for granted. They are setting themselves up for the futures
  • How do you feel about students' parents talking to you about grades?
  • Occasionally I talk to students about the importance of doing well in high school and trying as hard as they can and time in high school is limited so they shouldn’t take it for granted. They are setting themselves up for the futures
  • Well this past summer I took a course at a school for the AP exams and I did that for a week. Its also just looking at material and looking at the classes so that you can figure out what type of classroom management you want to have and what type of classroom management you want to have to get yourself mentally prepared.
  • What is it like preparing for school in the summer?
  • How do you get your students to enjoy learning?
  • I try and include as many activities as I can and if possible I play games. Or have students get up so it's not the same routine every day.
  • Have you noticed a difference in the students' attention by putting their phones in the pockets?
  • Not particularly think that for the most part, I have had students that don't really use their phones in class and don't really take them out so it hasn't been a big difference for me
