  • European influences were things like the English Magna Carta or Parliament that the colonists kind of copied or manipulated for their government, another example is the English Bill of Rights. The founders took from the English Bill of Rights because many people had suggested a bill of rights and framers believed in the ideas by european writers about the nature of people and government.

The Executive branch can propose new laws, can veto laws,  appoints federal officials who carry out and enforce laws. It also has the Power to pardon or grant amnesty to people convicted crimes, nominates judges to the courts. The Judicial branch actions unconstitutional, can use Judicial Review to rule treaties. It also can rule acts of Congress unconstitutional.
