The Aztec civilization started in the 13th century and it was built near the middle of present-day Mexico where Mexico city is today. Their city, Tenochtitlan, was also built in the middle of a lake which is mostly dried up today.
Chinampas were little floating islands that they built so they could grow crops or even raised animals on these. I think this was important because they needed to grow crops and raise animals and they didn't take up any of their land.
Aqueducts are pipe systems that would transport water from one place to another. I think this is important because they need a source of fresh water.
Ollama was similar to soccer, it is where they kicked a rubber ball int a hoop. I chose this because they need to have some type of entertainment instead just doing work for "fun."

The jaguar warriors were the elite military of the aztecs. To become one you would have to capture 12 enemies during 2 consecutive battles. They used wooden clubs with obsidian shards as weapons.
