I am Robert Brown. I was a scientist in England during the 1800s. I was the one to discover the nucleus of the cell.
I am Matthias Schleiden. I was a German scientist during the 1800s. I was a botanist and I discovered that all plants are made from cells.
I am Theodor Schwann. I was a scientist from Germany in the 1800s. I stole a lot of Schlieden's work. I published a famous book about the idea that all animals and living things are made from cells.
I am Rudolf Virchow. I was a German scientist in the 1800s. I concluded that all cells come from preexisting cells.
Cells are the basic unit of structure and function. These five scientists helped pave the way for a better understanding of what truly makes living things.
