  • This book is about a person named Louis, he comes clean to socitety that he is a vampire by doing an interview. He talks about his life including how he became a vampire.  
  • Antagonist- Lestat
  • The story is set in the 18th century and was set in a few different places including Paris, New Orleans, and Louis' plantation.
  • Conflict- Character vs. Self
  • Louis was a person who got turned into a vampire by another vampire Lestat. Louis was very kind, gentle, caring, stubborn and strong willed. 
  • Theme 
  • Some character traits are cold, distant, cruel, and he is connected to the protagonist by turning him into a vampire.
  • Louis faces a lot trying to keep his mortal ways even though he became a vampire and still try to be himself.
  • The theme is to always be true to yourself and do not change for anyone or anything and wants to have meaning and not be something that he is not like a ruthless killer.
