  • The summer of 2000 in Pennsylvania is where everything first started for Annie. Annie a 15 year old girl was at a protest for a women rights movement because women weren't getting equal pay even if they worked the same amount as men. Her father had passed away and only had a stepfather who was very kind to her and her mother.
  • You know what I am much more productive without him he doesn't deserve me. I will only focus on one thing.
  • Annie the next day at school wrote about what had happened yesterday at the protest for her school newspaper; until she encountered a boy who was her best friend who she also liked, Josh, after four years of a strong friendship he finally asked her out.
  • After two years of dating Annie got a text that would change how she viewed things.
  • Finally I am at peace!
  • She cried day and night for many months until she had realized something. She realized he wasn't worthy and she knew her worth and she was determined for one thing, equal pay.
  • She helped make equal pay a thing in Pennsylvania and she was so happy this happened because she had a good determination and a right mindset. She also found out Josh liked girls who had a small waist, certain face structure, and blue eyes who worked certain jobs.
  • Ever since that day she realized women are more than a object and property. Women are something to look up to and care for even if they can take care of themselves. Annie made sure to live the rest of her life happy with or without a man who she didn't need to depend on.
