  • Pinckney's Treaty
  • We signed Jay's treaty which settled the disputes between us
  • The Spanish closed the port between us and Florida and closed the port to New Orleans
  • I asked Pinckney to meet with the Spanish officials and discuss the problem
  • Pinckneys Treaty
  • Can you reopen the  New Orleans to U.S. trade and the right to deposit  in New Orleans
  • I'm think of delaying it and he will become desperate but what happens of they side with Great Britain and fight against us
  • Yes I will sign Pinckney's Treaty which will settle the disputes between us
  • Native American continue to settle in the Northwest Territory so I sent General Wayne to fight

  • Wayne fought back and burned crops and houses and now Little Turtle urged to seek peace

  • They didn't obey the law so I went down there with an army of 30,000 men
  • Washington knew he would scare them away so that is why when he arrived in Western Pennsylvania no rebels were there
  • Washington retired and  and wrote his farewell address. He said political unity was the key to national success. He left warning the nation to  work out it's differences. He was looking forward to retirement and praising his country.
