See... I wasn't born with the name Mickey Rooney. I was born Joe Yule jr. But as I grew as an actor I thought it would be cool to change my name to something else. Then..Mickey Rooney came to mind.
I made my first film appearance when I was 6 in 1926. After that I was lead star in the movie Mickey Mcguire. I was also in many musicals. Musicals were big in the 20's. Especially Broadway. I played in the musical Babes on Broadway,Strike the Band and more.
In august 1920, the 19th amendment gave all American women the right to vote. Before they had the right to vote the protested for equality.This was before I was born though. So I don't know much.
