yeah, I thought that you and I will never be friends again.
Do you remember when we were like four and we fight over the toy truck
Debbie and her best friend, Maureen Berck, have grown up together in the same small town, and it seems as if they will be inseparable forever. One summer, Maureen’s new relationship with classmate Glenna Flaiber puts their friendship in trouble. The day after Debbie returns from a family vacation, the three girls go to a carnival.
They were at a carnival and most of the time Maureen and Glenna were doing stuff together and left Debbie out and she says that she feels like she is the only one in the universe but then Debbie convinces Maureen to ride a few rides with her with fries.
Maureen was talking about a trip and Debbie thought finally they would be alone together. Maureen's mother said that Glenna could spend the night so they can wake up and get on the road.
Debbie Asked if she could get out because she remembered that she had to do something for her mom, but the truth was that she just wanted to get out of the car and get rid of all that. Maureen told her mom that she wanted to walk and she got out but shut the door before Glenna could get out.
Debbie said that she wants to be your friend not mine and that is why I can't be friends with Glenna. Debbie also said that Glenna would like it if I was not even here.
Maureen said that she will not give up her other friend Glenna for Debbie but she and Debbie could still be friends and hang out.
