The French and Indian war happened from 1754-1763 the French used all of their money and some so they were drawn into debt so they started to tax the colonist to pay for the debt.
The stamp act happened in 1765 and was one of the many taxes set to try and pay off the taxes from the French and Indian war this act was when the king set a tax stating that you had to have a stamp for each piece of paper.
The Boston Massacre happened in 1770 and was where the patriots the ones who believed the taxes the king set were unfair rioted against the troops and started to throw snow balls with rocks in them at the soldiers causing one of the soldiers to shoot at a patriot.
The Boston Tea Party happened in 1773 and what happened is the patriots had enough of the kings taxes so they boarded three ships at night and dressed as Indians and threw all of the tea off the side into the water about $1,000,000 worth of tea.
The intolerable acts happened in 1774 and was New laws were passed in 1774,after the Boston Tea Party. They were so harsh we called them the Intolerable Acts the harbor was closed and houses were searched when searched could be known as the writs of assistance where no warrant was needed to search your house.
The first continental congress met in October of 1774 and the meeting was between representatives of 12 of the 13 colonies they met up and discussed about problems happening in the colonies and wrote a letter to the king about what was happening in the colonies.
