- My name is Le Van Vu, I come from Vietnam and I work in a bakery.
- My wife and I, listen to audio tapes in english every night.
- Even if Le's family is one of the wealthiest in Southeast Asia, he and his wife sleep on the floor of the back room of the bakery...

- After that my father was murdered, my mother and I moved to South Vietnam. I prospered by making buildings and I became one of the most successful builders in the country.
- Le continued his story and told me that when he went on the North Vietnam for a trip he was captured by the North Vietnamese.
- He esacaped and he killed three soldiers !!!!
- I became the largest canner in South Vietnam! But I learned that the U.S troops were about to pull out me of my country, so I decided to take all my gold for safe passage out of vietnam to the Philippines. Now, i am in the road with my wife!
