Falling Action
Open here I flung the shutter, when, with many a flirt and flutter, In there stepped a stately Raven of the saintly days of yore; (Line 37-38)
Resolution
"Clasp a rare and radiant maiden whom the angels name Lenore." Quoth the Raven "Nevermore" (Line 95-96)
Conflict
The narrator, angry at hearing the Raven's reply, yells at the raven to leave, but the raven replies, "Nevermore" (Line 97-102)
The raven never leaves, and the narrator's soul is never whole again. (Line 103-108)
The conflict in "The Raven" is character vs. self, because the narrator is struggling within himself- he is grieving and unable to cope with the loss of a loved one.
