• Im so confused
• GOT IT MRS. McCAFERY
• Remember class, turn in your map of your room by Tuesday. Remember to use scale drawings.
• ﻿﻿Im so confused on how to make the map. What do I do?
• Ok....
• ﻿﻿Teachers response: "Okay. Lets say for every foot you put down 2 inches on a paper. In this case, the 2 inches would represent a foot on a smaller scale. Okay lets say you have a square room with the same height as the length and width. I guess the amount would probably be 8 feet. The equation would be 8x8x8 multiplied by 2 because thats what you would need to find the scale factor.

• I understand now! This how im showing my work
• My length width and height are 8 feet. So, I multiplied 8x8x8 which gives me 512. The, i multiplied it by 2 which gave me the area of 1024. Then to find the perimeter i added 8+8+8 which gives me 24. The i multiply by 2 to give me a perimeter of 48
