"If we could keep Curley in, we might, But Curley's gonna want to shoot 'im. Curley's still mad about his hand. An' s'pose they lock him up an' strap him down and put him in a cage. That ain't no good, George."
"No. No, Lennie, I ain't mad. I never been mad, and I ain' now. That's a thing I want ya to know."
"I thought you was mad at me, George."
Curley's wife comes into the barn, find Lennie with the dead puppy and kinda comforts him. She lets Lennie feel her hair and she basically tell him to stop he then grabs on to her head and she freaks out he wants her to stop then before you know it he breaks her neck. He then runs to the safe spot where George told him to go if anything bad happened and left her there.
Curley wants to kill Lennie but George doesn't want him to. George goes and gets the gun out of the drawer and takes it with him because he knows where Lennie is. He tells Lennie all these good things then shoots him in the back of the head so no one else would and that Lennie could habve happy last moments.
