Causes of the Great Depression

  • Begining of the 1920's when it was booming many people took advantages and built new factories and buildings to work in.
  • Production in the 1920's was great and there was lots of things created such as the automobiles which came more popular and a better way of tranportation.
  • Many people took advantage of teh productions, espically the automobiles started buying them.
  • During the 1920's overproduction was common.
  • Now that many workers were laid off they often couldn't stay in there houses anymore as they couldn't afford them.
  • Many workers were unemployed so they most likely were poor and could only afford necessities.
