In 1900's Blacks were segragated. They could not sit on the same seat. The image is showing that they wouldn't even allow a pregnat women to sit anywhere. The black people had enough. They started boycotting and and it all started with Rosa Parks, E.D Nixon, Jo Ann Robinson, and Martin Luther King Jr.
Rosa Parks and Martin Luther King jr were both arrested for carpooling people and hosting protest against segregation. They even arrested a school teacher.
They are unconstitutional!
Martin Luther made a speech in 20 minutes talking about how they should protest in a non-violent way and how they are being treated unfair.
Since Martin protest and goes against segregation, he has received threats, and has had a brick and homemade bomb thrown into his home through the window. (hint broken window)
The Supreme Court said that the segregation laws were unconstitutional.
Now all people have equal rights. They sit together, talk to each other and other things.
