  • Pearl Harbor

  • On September 1,1939 Hitler had a surprise attack right after signing the non-aggression pact. German tanks and troops rumbled across the Polish border, so Britain and France declared war, starting World War 2. 
  • D-Day
  • After being hit by depression,militants took over Japan, oil embargo, wanted to take over China, and needed other natural resources which did not follow military policy. This resulted in Japanese Aircraft attacking America on December 7,1941.
  • Hitler Dies
  • On July 17,1942 Germany forces were defeated in their attempt to capture the Soviet Union. Stalingrad is the most deadly battle in World War 2. Hitler and the Nazis were defeated. 
  • Hiroshima 
  • On June 6,1944 Eisenhower led over 150,000 troops to the Normandy beaches and began the process of retaking France.
  • On April 30,1945, Adolph Hitler commits suicide by shooting himself in the head. 
  • Hiroshima is the first city in Japan that was destroyed by an atomic bomb, on August 6,1945. This bombing was the end of World War 2.
