  • The East India Tea Company is failing. We need to do something about it. The only option is to prevent other tea from being sold. The Tea Act is necessary; it's the colonies' turn to help us.
  • The Tea Act is unfair! We are taxed even though we don't get representation in Parliament! This is the definition of tyranny!
  • Not to mention, us merchants are going to go out of business, since we aren't allowed to sell tea anymore! What will we do?
  • As a Son of Liberty, I declare that it is time to REVOLT!
  • On December 16, 1773, 60 colonists dumped 342 chests of tea into Boston Harbor.
  • Afterwards, the British Parliament passed the Intolerable Acts, one of which mandated the closing of Boston Harbor, eventually contributing to the American Revolution.
