Storyboard Text

  • A few years came and they saw a need for making them swear the first oath, the oath of neutrality. One of the reasons why is because the British thought war might break out and the Acadians would definitely side the French. With only the Acadians, they were outnumbered, let alone the French.
  • 1730, Oath of Neutrality
  • If you wish to stay, you must sign the oath of neutrality
  • What if we don't swear this oath of neutrality???
  • Then everything you ever worked hard for will be taken away from you. You will be deported at once!!!
  • We will stay loyal to FRANCE!!!
  • We will stay loyal to France!!!
  • Later on that year, a few people realized that all they had would be taken away from them and that they would have to be deported.

  • What???
  • Do you think that being loyal to the French was worth it? Think about it.
