To start, we have the Freedmen's Bureau: provided housing, food, and medical aid. The next step after that would be giving Black men voting rights. Lastly, we will give African-Americans 40 acres of land a mule.
LINCOLN IS ASSASSINATED April 15, 1865
After President Abraham Lincoln's death. Vice President Andrew Jackson Replaced him. Jackson was a Southern Democrat who sympathized with the south. Becuse of this he erases Lincoln's Reconstruction Plan. (For ex., removing Federal Troops to protect black people.)

With removal of Federal Troops and A southern President, the KKK formed. The KKK controlled the south leaving the newly founded 13th, 14th, and 15th amendment virtually ignored.
