How is women not getting equal chances similar to something today?
Ignored, women had been fighting to have the same rights as men. Cobb was trying to do something about it.
Cobb wants women and men to be equal but more importantly wants to go to space, she has to prove to herself and others that she can do it.
People are equal and it doesn't matter your color, gender, or religion.
In the 1950's, women did not have as many oppurtunities as men did. They were expected to cook and clean, and had to work twice as hard to get to the same place as men. Why did men think that women are not as cabable as men?
