Storyboard Text

  • Ranching
  • Railroad Impact
  • Boomtowns
  • Ranching was a common thing. People would buy land and turn it into their ranch. This was the normal, but if you were higher class then you would use your land to make a fancy home for yourself.
  • Harvey House
  • Railroads were one of the few things that was expected for the higher  class. This was because it was expensive to ride the train and most people, back then, did not have that money.
  • Tourism
  • Boomtowns were made because there was good mining near by. Yet, the miners' homes were usually too far away so they used boomtowns as temporary homes.
  • Wild West
  • The Harvey House was a place where people would go to eat. The women who worked there were not the nicest people. They would miss-treat the customers and did not like working there.
  • Tourism was a very common thing . People would find ways to make something that would profit, themselves, seem more interesting so that they could get more goods or trade from it.
  • People started  moving into the wild west (not finished)
