- Franklin Wong's family are immigrants from China who have settled in Australia for a better life in the 19th century. Franklin's parents are farmers and don't allow him to meet his best friend since he and his family came to Australia. Franklin's best friend's name is Henry Miller.
- Son, I do not want you to be playing with that boy anymore.
- Why dad? He's such a nice and understanding boy.
- Meanwhile - This is Henry Miller. His dad is a saddler and his mum is a housewife. Henry is best friends with Franklin and when they both grow up, they are going to run a company together called "Miller and Wong".
- Okay hon, don't be too late and remember to be home by supper!
- Bye mum, I promised Franklin that I'd meet him today.
- A few minutes later
- Hi Henry, ready to test out Miller and Wong's best invention yet?
- Of course I am, I have been waiting for 5 whole weeks!
- Okay, here we go!
- Woohoo! Look at it go. Wong and Miller is officially in business!
