  • hey Jessica, i just got my flu shot it hurts so bad but my doctor says its good for me
  • That's cool, I've never had a flu shot or vaccine before
  • WHAT! that's bad we should talk more after school lunch ?
  • Yeah i know ive just always been scared ,lunch sounds good
  • so why haven't you got your vaccines ?
  • Because ive always been scared of shots and never thought they are that important anyway
  • Okay fine, i dont have anything to lose right ?
  • I think you should meet my doctor and at least let him explain why the shots are important and maybe you can get one then
  • Sure, well first Vaccination protects children from serious illness and complications of vaccine-preventable diseases which can include amputation of an arm or leg, paralysis of limbs, hearing loss, convulsions, brain damage, and death. so if your ready i can give you the last two but for the others i will need a parent with you.
  • Hey doctor Grant, this is my frenid Jessica she hasnt had any of her shot cause shes scared can you tell her why they are important and give her the recent ones
  • Okay, that sounds good
  • Ouch.. oh that wasn't so bad
  • Okay breathe in for me
