Storyboard Text

  • Sarah Hill
  • 1. Inheritance - something that is inherited 2. Overproduction - production of more of a certain thing3. Survival of the fittest - the continued existence of organisms which are best adapted to their environment4. Differential reproduction - the process of differentiating
  • Variation
  • Overproduction
  • Survival of the fittest
  • The variations that exist in my population is worms and grasshoppers.
  • Reproduction/Inheritance
  • The limiting factor of my population is predators that can eat the bugs.
  • Adaptation
  • trait selected : greytrait selected against : yellowtype of adaptation : physicalenvironment/environmental change : predator
  • Variation leads to differential survival because of different phenotypes. Animals with certain traits can survive and reproduce better than those who have other traits in a certain environment.
  • Traits that lead to higher reproductive success is blending into the environment more so predators don't eat you.
