  • The Boston Massacre
  • The Quartering act is were soldiers come in to people's houses and demand the people who live there to let them stay there.  The soldiers also demand them to make them feel welcome and give them anything they want.  
  • The Boston Tea Party
  • The Stamp Act is were Britain needed to pay for the soldiers that remained in America.The British leaders thought that the colonists should help pay for the troops who were protecting them. So, in 1765, Parliament passed a new tax law called the stamp act. The stamp act said that the colonists would have to pay a tax on printed paper to prove that the tax was payed.and every peace of paper would have to have a big blue stamp. News of this new tax made the colonists furious.
  • The Intolerable Acts
  • The colonists went to the Customs House to protest and were being mean to the solders and calling them names. They also thought the British solders were rowdy and rude. Then they had a fight near the customs house when a solder herd fire and then shot. The fight got really bad and some people died because they got shot. 
  • The Boston Tea Party was a protest against the Tea Tax. The colonists dumped 90,000 pounds of tea into the Boston Harbor.
  • The Intolerable Acts were mostly caused because of The Boston Tea Party. The Intolerable Acts were laws that were made to punish the colonists. One act was that the Boston Harbor was closed because of The Boston Tea Party. With the harbor being closed, ships couldn't enter or leave the harbor. The harbor being closed also left people without jobs. Next, all of the colonists were running out of food because the food couldn't be shipped. Lastly, the colonies and Britain met in Philadelphia to discuss the problems.
