Storyboard Text

  • I tried asking him last week but he said that it was too much money to waste. I told him it was for our safety and he said he'll take money away from our paychecks to buy them if we want them so bad.
  • I just noticed that we don't have any sprinklers. We should tell our boss, in case a fire happens.
  • I know right. Hopefully a fire doesn't happen soon.
  • That's so unfair to us. Our safety shouldn't cost us our paychecks. What is a fire happens?
  • A Few Hours Later
  • I'll go call the fire department.
  • OH NO!!! IT'S A FIRE
  • That was close. You know, that fire was a small one. If the store had sprinklers, it would've put out the fire.
  • Thank you for saving us. We could've died without you. I'm going to go and have a talk with my boss about this.
  • Boss, I would like to have a talk with you. There was a fire today that could've burned down the store and killed us. My coworkers told me how they have already talked to you about this, but you threaten to take their hard earned money to pay for the sprinklers. If you don't get the store sprinklers soon then I'll sue you for putting your workers in danger and I will tell them about this incident, which will cost you more money.
  • Fine. I'll buy the store some sprinklers, just don't sue me and forget about the fire. Are you happy now?
  • Yes, I am happy because now I don't have to worry when a fire happens and that I know I am working in a safe place.
