  • The seventh amendment allows it so people can have atrial by jury in civil cases. That basically means that you can put someone on trial if you or a business were to have a disagreement. This amendment is important be cause needed to implant the recommendations of the States Reorganization Commission regarding the reorganization of the states on a linguistic basis. In the slide it shows a man wanting another guy to replace the car he owned after the guy thrashed it.
  • The eighth amendment allows it so no cruel or unusual punishment. This means that a person won't be killed just because of something small like shoplifting or speeding. Another thing this amendment allows is that people are not allowed to pay excessively large debts for bail where only the worlds richest would be able to pay it off. In the slide it shows a police officer giving an unusual punishment and it not being allowed.
  • The ninth amendment is the enumeration in the Constitution, of certain rights, shall not be construed to deny or disparage others retained by the people. It pretty much means the people retain rights absent specific enumeration. It is important because the existence of a written constitution should not be treated as an excuse for ignoring non textual rights. In the slide it shows a man explaining one of his rights.
