In 1854 the U.S attempted to buy Cuba from Spain. Spain stated that they'd rather see Cuba sink into the ocean.
Jose Mart is a poet and journalist. He dedicated his life to Cuba so, they can be free.
Although the explosion was an accident, U.S. newspaper falsely balanced Spain for the incident.
