Let me tell you guys a story. Back in 1935 Social security started. Social Security was a act to give welfare to senior citizens.
Welfare provided benefits for blind persons, dependent and crippled children, maternal and child welfare, public health, and the administration of their unemployment.
This Act helped many people in the states that actually did what they were supposed to.
In 1960 4.6 percent of people were on Social Security.
Now 18 percent of people are on Social Security. Which means that 52 million people are on Social Security as of right now.
social security helped give money and food to people in need.
