The 1930's was a rough time for people. People were getting released from work because the companies couldn't make enough money.
What am I suppose to do now? I have a family to provide for.
Its OK. I've been out of a job for weeks. You'll get through it.
But, thankfully for the CCC (Civilian Conservation Corps), this all changed. About 2 million people joined this program. It helped men ages 18-25 have a job and help the community thrive by planting trees, making fish and bird sanctuaries, and conserving coal and other natural resources.
This isn't half bad.
Yeah. This job is cool. And for a plus, we help stop erosion and help people like us have food.
The community became a better place, with people back into jobs, and more wildlife, and nature.
