  • Andrew Jackson was born on March 15, 1767.  His mom was Elizabeth Hutchinson and his dad was Andrew Jackson. His exact birth location is unknown.
  • He was born in poverty. He went to the U.S. military academy. He did not go to college.
  • He was interested in horse racing and breeding.
  • One challenge in his life was that he became a orphan 14. His mother died of disease and his father died 3 weeks after he was born.
  • Andrew Jackson was the 7th president of the U.S. He made a big imprint on politics and presidency. He was president for 8 years. He was part of the most successful political party. Before becoming president he was the general of the U.S. army. He served both houses of congress.
  • On June 8, 1845 Andrew Jackson died of Tuberculosis.
