A character that I can relate to is Per-Erik from “The Swede”. We both can be characterized as mistreated. To be clear we've got bullied. In the story Per-Erik says, “But why did he push me?”. The fact Per-Erik doesn't understand why he's been getting messed with shows he did nothing wrong. I have been bullied myself. When he also says, “I am not to blame”. This shows he's innocent and he hasn't done nothing wrong. I was bullied for being fat. In conclusion Per-Erik and I have had our fair share of mistreatment.
The characters Sarah and Soo-Mi can be characterized as curious. Many adopted kids in the world can be characterized the same way. In other words they want to know where they came from. This is proven when Sarah says, “find her Korean parents and succeeded”. The fact Sarah says that shows she wants to know where she came from. This is also proven when Soo-Mi says, “I needed to know where I came from”. The fact she says this shows that even though her parents aren't what she wanted them to be she’s glad she met them. In conclusion Soo-Mi and Sarah are like many adopted children in the world.
The girl Maya from “My favorite chaperone” can be characterized as caring. She reminds me of Alec lightwood from “The Mortal Instruments” series. In other words they both look after their siblings. She says “I told papa exactly what Mr. Shanaman said.” The fact she said this when she's lying shows she's worried about her brother. Alec lightwood always protects his younger sister from trouble. Maya says to her brother “You an excellent chaperone”. The fact she says that shows your brother repaid her kindness. Alec has also been saved by his sister many times. In conclusion both Maya and Alec are wonderful siblings.
