George Washington gave us a speech on the way there he also, gave us the battle plan and it sounded like we were going to win. This is probably not as accurate as it should be, but it looks cool.
I was in the second wave on the attack at the battle of Saratoga. We were able to catch them off guard and get the edge and have a better chance of winning.
The battle lasted 18 days we were able to keep up. The Americans were able to control the British and we only had 300 casulties. The battle was very tirrying and many men fell asleep at there postions.
I was there when we got to the British to retreat which made us able to regroup and able to resupply help treat wounded soldiers.
The surrender of the British was "splendid" and it was good to know that we were able to make them surrender. The British left the area and we had got Saratoga back.
I was at the place that the French decided to join the war efforts and we had more allies and an even better chance of winning this war.
