The Kingdom of Ghana was created in 500 CE and ended in 1200 CE
The person who ruled Ghana was the king, who wa the head of the army and was the final say in the manners of justice.
The Camel was used as transportation throughout the Sahara and helped develop the trans-Saharan trade
Totally a camel and not a llama because I had no other choice
The Wangara gold mines were south of forests in Ghana and had large amounts of gold. The Wangarans kept the mines secret. Merchants would sometimes capture them and try to make them reveal their secrets. But they would rather die than give the location of their gold.
Salt was very important in West Africa and they were usually found in the Sahara desert. They were chopped into giant blocks and sold by salt miners.
Kumbi was a place of trade and people sold/traded their goods here. But they had to pay taxes from the military if they bring their goods a second time.
